"This is my second Powersquid. I think they are terrific. I gave my grown children a Powersquid as a Christmas gift. The Powersquid is much more flexible and looks so much better than your competitors. The one I just bought will be where you don't even see it. That's how much I like it.
My only criticism is I would have preferred to use UPS rather than Fedex."

"The reason I need the cable protection is that Tucson has frequent, gorgeous, scary lightening storms during the summer and fall rains. I heard the storm coming close and raced to unplug a few large appliances. My computer was protected by a SurgeArrest Professional, or so I thought. But I bought that surge protector when I was still using a dial up modem, and didn't bother to upgrade when I joined the internet cable revolution. Bad decision. I heard a fairly large "craaaack" and the TV picture went to snow. But it was the only the TV cable that was affected, the TV itself was OK. The computer was another story. It would not boot, and later found that the mother board, the cable modem, and the surge protector were all fried. Two weeks later we found the 30 foot Mexican fan palm outside of the computer room was drooping, and would continue to show signs of its demise until last weekend when we had it taken down ($685, ulp). Given all the other costs and aggravation, the lightening strike was a downer.
However, here I am working on a new, marvelously fast and powerful computer, my hard disk was OK so I didn't lose precious files, and I have the opportunity to explore new technology such as the Powersquid.... What could be better? :)"
